THE EXPERIENCE
This immersion is rooted in the Ashtanga method, a practice of breath, repetition, and devotion.
Each morning begins with Mysore-style practice, allowing you to move through the sequence at your own pace while receiving individual guidance and adjustments. The afternoons are devoted to exploration: technique, mobility, philosophy, and honest conversation about the path of practice.

GUIDED BY JOVAN
Jovan Tevin is a lifelong teacher, movement artist, and the founder of To Exist. His path has been shaped by discipline. From coaching athletes with special needs at MIT, to earning a world championship in competitive cheerleading, and later working in hospital leadership at Mass General.
His journey led him to yoga, where he trained at Vikasa Yoga and studied Ashtanga in the Mysore tradition under Rich Ray, Didi Von Deck, and Kate O’Donnell. He later received the blessing to teach the Mysore format.
For Jovan, the Ashtanga method became more than a physical practice. The repetition of the sequence offers a space to surrender to breath, rhythm, and attention, returning to the same movements again and again, allowing the mind to quiet and awareness to deepen.
Having navigated significant injuries, including shoulder reconstruction and lower body trauma, his approach is rooted in patience, longevity, and intelligent practice.
His teaching reflects the belief that the body is a tool for exploration, not the final destination. While precision matters, the deeper intention is to move beyond the physical, toward breath, awareness, and presence.
For Jovan, practice is not about being seen. It is about fully committing to the moment.
Through this lens, practice becomes less about achievement, and more about returning to what has always been there.
